Belvedere v Butleigh
Belvedere remain unbeaten after eight matches following their 26 run victory over second placed Butleigh at Weston-Super-Mare.
Batting first Belvedere were all out for 203, with Shaun Blackaller top scored with 52. Joe Gadd made 29 and W. Whittal 29. The pick of the Butleigh attack were Derek Spencer who took five for 59 and Terry Hooper who claimed three for 36.
In pursuit of their target, Butleigh reached 173 for seven. Spencer made 26 and M. Huxtable ended with two for 41. Peasedown St John v Whitchurch
Whitchurch travelled down the A37 to face their near neighbours Peasedown St John at Red Post Ground and at the end of the game it was the visitors who ran out the winners.
Batting first Peasedown were dismissed for 107, with Paul Warsinski top scoring with 48 and Chris Wilcox making 18.
In reply Whitchurch made 108 for four to record a six wicket victory.
