Division 2 News from Saturday 19th May
Fitzhead v Burnham Fitzhead had a comfortable win over their visitors Burnham-on-Sea who batting first scored 128, Neil Hendy taking 3 for 12 and skipper Laurence Burns 2 for 12.
The West Somerset Village side then knocked of the required runs for the loss of just one wicket thanks to 56 for Ian Oliver and Hendy who finished off a useful day by scoring an unbeaten 58.
Whitchurch v Butleigh Butleigh travelled to the North of the County to play Whitchurch at Norton Lane and came away with a three wicket victory.
Batting first the hosts made 186 for eight, with James Gammon making 53 and Harvey Hicks taking 3 for 38.
In reply Butleigh made 187 for 7, with Greg Durston scoring 44 and Dan Beal an unbeaten 53.
