Taunton Outcasts & Radiac v Fitzhead
The sides involved in this encounter enjoyed mixed fortunes last week.
Whilst Fitzhead enjoyed a victory over third placed Whitchurch, the hosts match at Belvedere last Sunday was rained off, so they were delighted with the chance of a game.
After winning the toss and deciding to bat first in the 35 overs match, Taunton Outcasts & Radiac scored 195 for 3 a total that was dominated by their South African player Nico Genade.
Coming in at number three, Genade scored an excellent 113 from his 26 overs at the crease, whilst skipper Joe Hewton chipped in with an unbeaten 36.
In reply Fitzhead were bowled out for 78 in the 24th over, thanks mainly to medium pacer Jon Pike who enjoyed figures of 5 for 23 from his 7.4 overs.
All other matches in Division 2 were cancelled.
