Bagborugh v Watchet

Baker Cup

Watchet had a comfortable win in the Baker Cup at Bagborough on May 2nd.

Bagborough batted first but found Matt Lovell in good form with the ball, taking 2 for 8 off his five overs. At the end of their 20 overs the home side totalled 127 for 6, thanks mainly to a good knock by M Halliwell of 47 not out.

Watchet's top order looked in good form with Pete Manley and Philip Milton both scoring 30s and Chris Sully, pictured left, went on to complete his first half century of the season to see Watchet home with the loss of just one wicket.

Bagborough: 127 for 6 (M Halliwell 47no, M Lovell 2-8)

                            Watchet: 129-1 (C Sully 53no, P Milton 37, P Manley30)
